How Do I Get More Bookings from Google for My Aesthetics Treatments?

You’ve trained for your treatments, you’ve got clients who love your work, and your menu is ready to go. But when someone searches for what you offer nearby, your clinic doesn’t show up. If that’s you, it’s one of the most common frustrations I see, and it’s entirely fixable.

Here’s the thing though: it’s not about luck, and it’s not about having a huge budget. It’s a sequence. Get visible, earn the click, build trust, convert the visitor. Miss a step and the whole thing stalls further down the line.

The One Thing I See Over and Over

When I open a new client’s Google Business Profile for the first time, there’s a pattern I see constantly: incomplete. No photos, or nothing that’s been added recently. Minimal details. Sometimes the only photo on the whole profile is the front of the building. If you’ve never quite got round to sorting yours out, why your salon isn’t showing on Google Maps walks through why that happens in the first place.

Honestly, it looks inactive. And when a profile looks inactive, it makes people question whether you’re actually open, whether you’re still practising. It doesn’t give them trust in the business, and trust is the thing you can least afford to lose in this industry.

Where to Start (In the Order It Actually Matters)

One thing to rule out before any of this: the profile has to actually be live. If it was never verified, or it’s disappeared after a suspension, that’s a separate fix and it comes first, because nothing below will do anything for you until it’s sorted.

If your profile’s live but looking neglected, here’s the order I’d tackle it in.

Photos first. We’re a visual industry, so this genuinely does the most work fastest. Photos of your treatment room, a friendly shot of you as the practitioner, before and afters where that’s appropriate for the treatment. People need to see the space they’d be walking into.

Then your treatments, properly listed. Not a vague “treatments” catch-all, the actual names people are searching for. If you’re not sure what those are, the words your clients actually type into Google is worth a read.

A working booking link, or at minimum an active, updated website. If someone’s ready to book and hits a dead end, they’ll book with whoever’s next on the list instead.

Then reviews, and a strategy for getting more of them. No reviews at all is its own red flag. And it’s not just about collecting them, it’s about replying too. Replying shows you’re actually there, actively engaged, not just a profile sat gathering dust. If asking feels like the awkward part, how to ask for reviews without feeling awkward covers that.

Why This Matters More Than “Ranking”

A lot of people search “aesthetics near me” or a specific treatment near me wanting to book straight away, and yes, you want to be visible for that. But there’s a second layer underneath it that matters just as much: trust.

Aesthetics isn’t like booking a haircut. Your client needs to trust you as a professional, as a clinician, before they’ll ever get in touch. A complete, active-looking profile is doing that trust-building work before they’ve even reached your website.

What Actually Changes When You Fix This

With clients who’ve gone through this process, properly filling out the profile, adding photos, listing treatments clearly, getting a booking link live, building up reviews, what I see is more inquiries, more clicks through to the website, and more general engagement across the board. People going from the profile to check the Instagram, from there to the website, and then getting in touch to book a consultation.

You can watch this happen in your own Google Business Profile insights too. It shows you how many people are viewing and interacting with your profile, so you’re not guessing whether the changes are working, you can see it.

Where to Start

If you’re not sure whether your profile is the problem, or you suspect it might be something else entirely (your reviews, your treatment pages, your website), the smartest first move is finding out before you change anything. That’s exactly what my Get Found Audit is for: it takes minutes, costs nothing, and tells you precisely where your visibility is being lost so you’re fixing the right thing first.

If you already know your profile needs work and would rather it was simply done for you, my Google Business Profile setup service covers everything above, photos, categories, description, reviews approach, the lot, delivered in five working days.

If you’d rather talk it through, drop me a message on WhatsApp and we’ll figure out your next step together, no obligation, no jargon.
